The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that:
1. acceptance of application is within the sole discretion of Thunderbirds Softball, Inc.
2. responsibility for insurance for injury to any participant or spectator is sole responsibility of the sponsoring organization and/or team
3. participation in the tournament is subject to tournament rules
4. in consideration of selection to participate in the tournament, the sponsoring organization, team and their respective officers, directors, managers, coaches and members, release, hold harmless, indemnify, defend and/or covenant not to sue the Thunderbirds Softball, Inc. organization and any of its officers, directors, members, or volunteer assistants, the Township of Plymouth, the Township of Canton, Township of Van Buren, or the City of Belleville with respect to claims of any character, involving themselves or any player on the team registered, whether for personal injury, or any other cause, arising out of or relating to participation in the tournament or any related activity. In event of rain out, refunds are pro rata, based on games played. The Tournament Director reserves the right to shorten games to complete tournament.
